Installation

The installation of a stretch ceiling is a meticulous process that transforms any room with a sleek, modern finish. Here’s an overview of how the installation typically works:

Room Assessment and Preparation: The process begins with a thorough assessment of the room. Professionals evaluate the structure, take precise measurements, and identify key ceiling features. The room is then prepared for installation, with furniture and other items temporarily moved or protected to ensure they are not damaged during the process.

 

Installation of the Frame: Specialists install a metal or plastic frame profile around the perimeter of the room. This frame serves as the foundation for the stretch ceiling material.

 

Installation of the Lighting: Depending on the ceiling type and design, LED lighting is installed on the main ceiling, while LED strips are integrated into the profile frame. This step ensures that the lighting is perfectly aligned with the design.

 

Material Tensioning: Using special heaters, the tensioning material is heated to a specific temperature. The heated material is then stretched and carefully inserted into the frame, creating a smooth, even surface.

 

Finishing: Once the material is securely in place, mouldings or decorative strips are added according to the design, giving the ceiling a polished look.

 

Completion and Handover: After the installation is complete, the room is returned to its original condition. Furniture is put back in place, and the room is ready for use.
