This policy explains cookies and similar browser storage used in connection with vectadesign.com. The website is operated by Osaühing Vecta Design (Vecta Design OÜ), registry code 11249560, Pärlimõisa tee 20, 80010 Pärnu, Estonia. Email: [email protected]; telephone: +372 442 3023.
1. Your choice
Necessary storage supports website functions you request and remembers your privacy choices. Optional external services, including YouTube videos and the embedded Typeform form, are blocked until you consent. You can browse the website and contact us without allowing these services.
Choose Accept all to allow optional external services, Reject optional to keep them blocked, or Settings to make your choice. You can change or withdraw consent using the Cookie settings control on the website. The optional category is labelled External services; its technical cookie name is cmplz_marketing. An accepted category allows the relevant embedded providers to load, including their own cookie and storage technologies.
2. Necessary consent-preference storage
These first-party cookies are set by the Complianz consent tool on our domain to record your choice. They are necessary for applying that choice, including a refusal, rather than for advertising. The configured lifetime is up to 365 days, unless you clear the cookies or a changed policy requires a new choice.
| Cookie or storage | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| cmplz_functional | Records the necessary functional category. | Up to 365 days |
| cmplz_preferences | Records the preference-category choice where applicable. | Up to 365 days |
| cmplz_statistics | Records the statistics-category choice; this cookie is not itself an analytics tracker. | Up to 365 days |
| cmplz_marketing | Records whether optional external services may load. | Up to 365 days |
| cmplz_consented_services | Records consent choices for individual services where used. | Up to 365 days |
| cmplz_policy_id | Identifies the policy version associated with the choice. | Up to 365 days |
| cmplz_banner-status | Remembers whether the banner has been dismissed. | Up to 365 days |
| cmplz_user_data (session storage, where used) | Keeps the consent-banner configuration for the current session. | Browser session |
3. Cookies for functions you request
Additional necessary storage depends on the function you use. Visiting a login page, signing in, using an available cart or choosing a language can require different storage from browsing a product page. The following describes those feature-dependent technologies; it does not mean that all are set on every visit.
| Function and names | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| WordPress: wordpress_test_cookie, wp_lang | Check cookie support and remember a selected login language. | Session |
| WordPress: wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_* | Maintain a requested authenticated session. | WordPress normally validates a session for up to 2 days, or 14 days when Remember Me is selected; logout ends the authenticated session. |
| WooCommerce: woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart | Maintain the cart you use and detect changes to its contents. | Session |
| WooCommerce: wp_woocommerce_session_* | Match a requested cart with its server-side session. | Normally 2 days for a guest session; the session period can differ for signed-in users. |
| Language functions supplied by Weglot | Provide the language selected and, where used, remember that choice or cache translations. | Depends on the storage used, as described below. |
Weglot documents wglang as session language storage and WG_CHOOSE_ORIGINAL as a one-month cookie for its automatic language-switch feature. Its JavaScript/proxy integrations can also use wg-translations and wg-slugs in local storage until cleared, and wg-search-form for one second when translating a search. Availability depends on the integration and feature used. See Weglot’s storage documentation. You can clear local storage using your browser’s site-data controls.
Cloudflare supports delivery and protection of the website. Security or challenge cookies may be required if a protection feature is triggered; they are used for security rather than marketing. Their presence depends on the protection encountered.
4. YouTube videos — optional external service
YouTube is provided by Google Ireland Limited. Until you allow external services, the embedded player is replaced with a consent placeholder. Allowing it makes a connection to Google/YouTube, which receives your IP address, browser/device information, the embedding page and player interactions, and may use cookies or local storage. Google may use this information for service operation, security, measurement, personalisation and advertising according to your Google settings and its policies.
Google’s published examples include YSC (session, security), __Secure-YNID or VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE (6 months, preferences and other Google purposes), __Secure-YENID or __Secure-YEC (13 months, security and other Google purposes), PREF (8 months, playback preferences), and __Secure-ROLLOUT_TOKEN (6 months, feature rollout and measurement). Which technologies appear depends on the player, your Google sign-in and choices. See the current details in Google’s cookie policy and Privacy Policy.
5. Typeform — optional external form
The Typeform embed is blocked until you allow external services. Once enabled, Typeform receives technical connection information and provides the form. If you enter answers, the form may save progress in your browser: Typeform describes a default autosave period of 15 days where that feature is enabled. Cookies and storage used for form delivery, preferences, security or enabled form features are controlled by Typeform. See Typeform’s Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy. You may instead contact us by email.
Links that open a form on Typeform’s own website take you to that external service. Your choices on vectadesign.com control embedded content here, not cookies on a separate website.
6. Analytics and fonts
The Google Analytics and Hotjar tracking scripts installed on this website are currently disabled. Accepting optional external services does not re-enable those disabled scripts. Our website font files are hosted locally. We will update the policy and the consent choices before introducing new optional processing.
7. Withdrawing consent and clearing storage
Open Cookie settings, turn off External services and save your choice, or choose Reject optional. When you withdraw consent after external content has loaded, the page reloads automatically to stop those services. You can also delete cookies and other site data in your browser. A browser may shorten the lifetimes shown above.
Withdrawal stops future optional loading on this site. It does not automatically erase information already received by a provider or cookies belonging to another domain. Use the provider’s privacy controls or your browser’s site-data settings to remove those. Clearing our consent cookies causes the banner to ask again. Blocking all necessary cookies may affect sign-in, requested functionality and the ability to remember your choice.
8. Personal data and contact
Where optional technologies process personal data, we rely on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Necessary processing supports requested functions, website security and consent administration, under the applicable bases explained in our Privacy Policy. That policy also explains recipients, international processing, retention criteria and your data-protection rights. For questions or requests, contact [email protected].
